Easy Apple Harvest Cake




Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1-1/2 c. MUSSELMAN'S Natural Apple Sauce
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternately with apple sauce. Stir raisins and pecans into batter. Turn batter into greased 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes or until done. Cool cake in pan.
