Ingredients

  • cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, finely crushed
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup salted peanuts, finely crushed

Directions

  1. Step 1
Stir together peanut butter and apple butter in a medium-sized bowl.

  2. Step 2
Mix cinnamon into the graham cracker crumbs and add to the apple butter mixture. Combine well. Chill for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Step 3
Scoop Tablespoon-sized balls of the mixture onto a wax paper lined cookie sheet (dough will be soft). Roll into uniformed sized balls.

  4. Step 4
Place peanuts in a small bowl and roll the balls in them to coat.

  5. Step 5
    Store in refrigerator.

Try adding 1 cup of mini cinnamon chips or toffee chips into the dough. Instead of rolling the bites in peanuts, try rolling them in additional graham cracker crumbs with cinnamon sugar.

I love Musselman’s applesauce and apple butter. I would use recipe in a heartbeat. I try to cook healthy and I don’t bake because I can’t find good recipes dinner with less fat calories and fat. I’ve heard that applesauce is a good substitute for both. I’m looking for recipes that I can use for baking.
